a wedding // rachel +sam

eagle rock lodge was the perfect little setting for this organic and whimsical wedding. nestled in the trees along the mckenzie river, rachel and sam wed. no detail was forgotten here, from antique china, to hanging birdcages, to beautiful hand-blown votives on the tables, rachel and the ladies at moxie events, created a beautiful and unique wedding.

i designed the centerpieces out of white birch bark tubes overflowing with local dahlias, blackberries, succulents and ferns to name a few.

green + gold

i'm very inspired by green and gold right now...must be the changing of the seasons. would be perfect for a fall or winter wedding.

it's funny

i came across this fantastic picture of a cat taking a nap on this green and white stripped floor... i have since seen other photos that look so similar in shape and color... it's kinda funny all the random places one can find inspiration.

spring is in the air

The smell of daphene and blooming trees has got me going loco for spring. The warmer longer days, the visions of new life everywhere (i live right by ponds that are full of little ducklings) and the smell, oh the smell of blooming flowers.  I am loving soft pinks, yellows and blue-ish greens this spring.

I made this board for one of my summer brides. Her colors are pastel orange and green, and white. It is set at the beautiful mt.hood bed and breakfast... which is where i got married almost 4 years ago! What do you think?
