Inspiration board # 4: end of summer love

Believe me I am so not ready for summer to be over!!! Especially for us Oregonians, it seems like summer just arrived and here it is getting cold already. I will hold on to those warm summer evenings till i can't any more. This Inspiration board reminds me of one of those warm summer evenings...
ahhhh...

real wedding: bridget + dan

This was a beautiful backyard garden wedding, held at the house of some friends. It was record breaking hot this day, something like 106 degrees. The wedding was an eclectic  mix of vintage and garden. There was a lot of vintage vases from the bride's great grandma (how cool is that boot!!??), and handpicked blueberries on each table. This first picture shows all the flowers huddled together next to the air conditioning so that they don't wilt in the heat. Thankfully, we all - including most of the flowers- survived the heat and had a beautiful time!

an afternoon walk

What I wouldn't give for an afternoon walk right now... instead I am house bound, recovering from surgery, listening to the banjo and strings of my mumford & sons station on pandora.
Last week I went for a walk and collected these beauties....
