it's all in the details: pom poms

Pom poms are a great and inexpensive way to add so much color and texture to your wedding.  You can hang paper pom poms from anything using fishing line, or connect them, hanging them like a banner.
Paper pom poms can be easily made using tissue paper, how-to instructions here, mini poms here, or you can buy them from a local portlander here(she made that polkadot pom below... how cool!!??).
Pom poms can be made out of almost anything. I love these fabric poms, hanging from ribbon. How-to instructions here.
You can also make them from tulle, instructions here.
And what about this little detail... pom poms wrapped around your bouquet, it adds a little extra touch of fun.
My favorite use for the pom poms has got to be using the little craft-store poms as confetti. It is such a fun and colorful way to say hooray and congratulations as apposed to the typical rice or bubbles.

How do you plan on using pom poms at your wedding??
